Jacquard tape

Jacquard tapes are a specific type of trim tapes characterized by intricate patterns and textures that are impossible to achieve with traditional weaving techniques. The name derives from the invention of Joseph Marie Jacquard, who developed the Jacquard mechanism in the 19th century, enabling the automation of fabric production with complex patterns. This mechanism allows for individual control of each thread, opening the way to creating intricate and detailed patterns on the fabric.

The Jacquard loom can create very complex patterns that are directly woven into the fabric structure, rather than printed or embroidered on its surface. This allows for exceptional depth, durability, and detail in the pattern.
